- 5-7 new potatoes or russet potatoes
- 1 turkey smoked sausage link
- 6-8 pieces of turkey bacon
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 garlic cloves mincedÂ
- 2/3 cup green onion diced
- 1 qt bone broth
- 2 cups water
- 3 T coconut flour
- 1 can condensed coconut cream
- 1 T turmeric
- 2 T minced ginger
- 1 t paprika
- 1 T garlic powder
- 1 t dried bayleaves
- 4 T coconut oil
- 1 C shredded cheese of your choice
Quarter potatoes, add to pot along with bone broth and water, bring to a boil, then cover and let cook until potatoes are nice and soft. Cook turkey bacon set aside. Dice your onion and garlic and sear them in coconut oil, once translucent add to pot, add all other spices in as well. In a separate small pot, pour in half of the coconut cream, slowly add in the coconut flour, stir until lumps are gone. Pour your cream mixture in with potatoes and spices. Cook until potatoes fall apart. Pour the rest of the coconut cream into pot. Break up bacon. Salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with green onion, turkey bacon and your cheese of choice. I use non-dairy cheese.
